Talavera is a premium, hand-painted, tin-glazed earthenware pottery originating from Puebla, Mexico, characterized by a milky-white glaze, vibrant colors, and intricate designs. Rooted in 16th-century Spanish colonial techniques, authentic Talavera is produced using specific local clays, fired twice, and often features a raised, textured paint style with a limited, traditional colour palette.
